Richard Lambert is an experienced composer, organist and conductor. He is also a Senior Examiner, Trainer and Moderator for the London College of Music at the University of West London.

His compositions have been performed in the UK, Europe, North and South America, Africa and S.E. Asia.

Our programme of organ recitals is kindly curated and programmed by Andrew McCrea who has been the Curator-Organist of St Swithun's since 2010, when the restoration of the historic organ was completed. During this time he has played in many recitals and organised a number of recital series featuring guest organists. Andrew studied organ at the Royal College of Music and at Amsterdam Conservatorium, where he was a pupil of Jacques van Oortmerssen.

He combines playing with a career in academia: he is Deputy Director of the Royal College of Organists and teaches at the Royal College of Music. Andrew has held several appointments as a church organist, and as a recitalist has appeared in concerts both at home and overseas. He has given papers at international conferences and published a number of articles on organ-related topics in journals and books.
